MT88-370 Ropemaking Machine 14-44 mm

The Roblon rope production line MT88-370 consists of a combined strand and rope layer with a crane and a separated rewinder line consisting of a pay-off stand and a coiling machine C1444.

The ROBLON MT88-370 is a unique rope making machine. It employs the two-for-one principle in the stranding section and one-for-one system in the closing section. Combined with a special take-up and re-coiling system this special feature ensures an execellent  rope quality as well as a very high output.

MT88-370 is available in two versions:
• MT88-370/3 for production of three-strand ropes
• MT88-370/4 for production of three-strand and four-strand ropes

Take-up re-coiling process	The MT88 is equipped with a unique take-up system. The rope is wound up on a reel with a large take-up capacity. When full, the reel is taken out by use of a crane, and fitted on a separate pay-off stand ready for recoiling. An empty reel is replaced in the MT88. Production is resumed immediately after the exchange of the reels while the rope on the full reel, placed on the separate pay-off stand, is re-coiled on ready-to-sell coils on the separate coiling machine C1444. The entire reel change operation is carried out in app. 5 minutes.
